Business problem
The business problem
A moving company commits to more than transport between two addresses. The team needs to know the items and quantities, floors and access conditions, timing, packaging and any additional work. Customers need to understand what they are ordering, how the estimate is formed and what happens next.
- Customers need a guided way to show what is being moved without manually listing every item.
- The business needs route, access, inventory, add-ons and timing as structured order context.
- Pricing must balance customer certainty with the real uncertainty of moving work.
The solution
EasyMove brings those decisions into a connected customer and office workflow. The customer describes a whole-home move or selected items, adds the pickup and destination details, and chooses the relevant date and services. Rooms and item categories give the office a structured picture of the job.
- Media input and focused questions help convert moving scope into structured inventory and order data.
- Pricing and payment models support both flexible price-range orders and fixed-price prepaid orders.
- Managers receive media, item quantities, service selections and order status in one operational context.
AI in the workflow
Show the room. Check the moving list.
Customers can use photos or video to help describe their belongings. AI proposes an item list that the customer can edit before adding it to the order. Quantities, categories and room information make the description usable beyond the initial enquiry. Media remains linked to the items, so the team can review what the customer is referring to.
-
Capture the room
Use a photo to show the furniture and belongings that need to move.
-
Check the suggested items
Review the recognized sofa, tables and other items. Adjust quantities and choose the matching size category.
-
Continue with the estimate
The moving flow brings the inventory together with the load, duration and price estimate.
Case overview
Reusable platform model
The same kind of challenge appears wherever a job must be described and assessed before it can be sold: field services, installation, collection or other configurable work. EasyMove demonstrates how ReApptor connects customer input to the information the business needs to assess, sell and fulfil the service. ReApptor can help you design that workflow around your own services, approval rules and existing systems.
The same pattern can support moving-company SaaS, franchise channels and related services such as storage, cleaning and recycling.
Guided moving orders
Step-by-step customer flow for move details, addresses, services, timing and order submission.
Photos and video input
Customers can show what they are moving with photos, short video and comments.
Two payment models

Business order review
Managers review customer details, media, quantities, selected services and order status.
Materials and add-ons
Boxes, packing products and extra services become part of the order.

Public customer service
EasyMove ordering service
Customers can start a moving order through web or mobile, add move details, use media input, choose services and continue toward payment. The business team reviews the order from the management side.
How it works
From the customer's description to operational work
Photos and video help describe the move
Customers can use photos or video to help describe their belongings. AI proposes an item list that the customer can edit before adding it to the order. Quantities, categories and room information make the description usable beyond the initial enquiry. Media remains linked to the items, so the team can review what the customer is referring to.
Makes online moving orders more natural for customers and more useful for operations than free text.
Specify the work for each item
A furniture list is not enough when some items need additional work. EasyMove can attach packing and protection, disassembly, assembly or removal for recycling to the relevant item. The office can review the service in the context of what needs moving, including its room and linked photo, rather than interpret an unrelated note.
The additional work stays attached to the item your team must handle.
Make the estimate part of the order
The estimate combines route information, the described load, floors, timing and selected services with the company's pricing parameters. Moving boxes and packaging are included in the same process. The customer can view the breakdown while the order retains the estimated price, payment basis and service details for review.
The saved estimate also contains planning assumptions for the described load: estimated volume and weight, vehicle and employee requirements, working hours, route distance and travel time. This gives the office a concrete basis for reviewing the proposed service and its price.
Connect customer commitment to operational work
Submitting the request sends it for review. A manager opens the order and approves it before the customer proceeds to the permitted payment stage. Stripe payment records belong to the order. The customer view shows progress and provides payment information and receipts.
The Lenio connection supports the handoff to the company's operational workflow. Confirmed dates, stages and costs can return to EasyMove, keeping the customer-facing order connected to office work. Where relevant, box delivery, the move, box collection, final review and the remaining payment form parts of that service journey.
Organise the work around the moving day
Boxes and supplies can require work before and after the main move. EasyMove connects the main moving order to separate Lenio tasks for delivery and return, with their own dates and references. The office can prepare these related visits as parts of the same customer service, while the customer continues to follow the order in EasyMove.
Prepare delivery, the move and collection as connected parts of one customer order.
Services and materials managed by the business
Admins can manage service options, item categories, moving boxes, packing materials, floor protection and other add-ons used in the customer flow.
Selected extras belong to the order alongside the items, addresses and requested date. The office can review the service the customer chose as part of the whole move. ReApptor can adapt these options as your service offering and business rules evolve.
Same flow for related services
The same ordering model can later support storage, cleaning, recycling and other related services instead of creating a separate manual process for each one.
Creates expansion potential beyond a single moving-order workflow.
Pricing can change as the service grows
Pricing parameters can be adjusted as the business learns from real orders, while the customer ordering flow stays consistent.
Supports long-term product development while keeping the ordering model stable for customers.
